Note:<\/strong> Due to a recent change and Twitter shutting down their free API, we’ve created our own solution, which is available in version 2.1. This updated version incorporates the necessary modifications to offer a seamless experience for our users. Older versions of the plugin will no longer work due to the changes implemented by Twitter. Kindly upgrade to Version 2.1 to continue enjoying the benefits of our plugin without any interruptions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n Manual Installation Steps <\/p>\n

1)\u00a0<\/strong>To upload the plugin, click Add New<\/strong>\u00a0at the top of your WordPress Plugins page.<\/p>\n

2)<\/strong>\u00a0Click\u00a0Upload<\/strong>\u00a0at the top.<\/p>\n

3)<\/strong> Browse to the zip file which you downloaded and click Install Now<\/strong><\/p>\n

4)<\/strong>\u00a0Activate the plugin.<\/p>\n

To create your first feed and finish the plugin setup, you can continue with steps #3 <\/strong>below.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

1) <\/strong>Install the plugin by navigating to your WordPress dashboard > Plugins > Add new<\/strong><\/em>. Search for “Custom Twitter Feeds” and click the “Install Now<\/strong>” button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2)<\/strong> Activate the plugin by clicking the “Activate<\/strong>” button<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3)<\/strong> You\u2019ll now see the Twitter Feed menu appear in your WordPress menu. Navigate to Twitter Feed > All Feeds<\/strong><\/em> and then click on the button labeled Add new.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

4)<\/strong> Connect To Smash Balloon by clicking the “Connect button<\/strong>“<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5)<\/strong> Enter your email address and click the “Send Confirmation Link<\/strong>“<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6)<\/strong> Check your Inbox and click the “Verify Email<\/strong>” button. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note:<\/strong> If you don’t see the email, please check your SPAM folder; the sender’s address is support@smashballoon.com <\/p>\n\n\n\n

7)<\/strong> Confirm your domain by clicking the “Yes, it is my domain<\/strong>” button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8)<\/strong> Add your Twitter handle name<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9)<\/strong> Customize your feed using the options on this screen, then click Save<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note: <\/strong>the new API can not discern sponsored Tweets from other Tweets. As such, you may see unrelated Tweets in your feed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

10)<\/strong> Once you are ready to embed your feed, click the Embed<\/strong> button and copy the shortcode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

11)<\/strong> To display your feed, simply add the shortcode you created to any page, post, or widget, like so:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Important Note<\/strong>: Currently, you will be able to update one feed once a week<\/strong>. This may be increased in the future.
