The renewal purchase would then reside in the new account that was created while ownership and control of the license would remain in the owners account.\u00a0 This results in purchases relating to the same license becoming <a href=\"https:\/\/smashballoon.com\/user-accounts\/#4\">orphaned from one another<\/a> as each purchase will each reside in their own respective accounts which they were made under.\u00a0 This is not a recommended practice.<\/p>\n<p><a name=\"3\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Why Renew a License?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Customer support<br \/>\n<\/strong>Without a valid license key you will no longer be able to receive updates or support for your plugin.
